1/2 cup Robust Maple Syrup
4 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoon garlic
1/4 teaspoon red flaked pepper (or black pepper)
2 tablespoons butter
fresh parsley to taste
fresh chives to taste
1 pound of salmon
Mix Maple Syrup, soy sauce, garlic and pepper in a small bowl. Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish and coat with sauce. Cover and marinate in fridge for 30 mins – baste again about half way. Preheat oven to 400* Thinly slice butter and add to top of salmon. Cut fresh parsley and chives to cover the salmon. Uncover and Bake for about 20 mins or until fish easily flakes apart with a fork. Plate and Garnish with additional parsley. Enjoy!
